Shakya Design offers unique porcelain lithophane night lights and shadow boxes. These night lights are suitable for your meditation space or other rooms in your home

Porcelain lithophanes were first created in 1827. They are made by first carving an image into beeswax. A plaster casting is then made and a fine porcelain paste is pressed into the mold. The panels are then kiln fired to at 2300*F which creates their extreme density and amazing translucency.
