Shakya Design offers hand sewn and embroided silk mala cases to hold malas or other small ritual items.
Mala cases are designed by and made exclusively for Shakya Design.
Cases are made of silk and are available in burgundy, green, blue or black and come in either small or large sizes. Each case is unique as the embroidery on the cover is hand stitched. Large sizes have shoulder straps which can be tucked into the case completely or to allow you to use it as a carrying case for your mala and other small items. Each case is secured closed by a coordinating knotted, fabric button. A sheer fabric overlay protects the silk and creates a deep, rich appearance.
Small cases are 5-7/8" wide x 5-1/2" high and are suitable for bracelet malas and hand malas.
Large cases are 5-7/8" wide x 6-3/4" high and accomodates all of our 108 bead malas.

 ALTAR CLOTHS Our hand embroidered altar cloths are made exclusively for Shakya Design. Altar cloths are made of Chinese silk and are available in deep purple and champaign gold. A lotus blossom is hand embroidered and embellished making each peice unique. Altar cloths are available in two sizes: Small (15" length x 11.5" width) and Large (26" length x 13.5" width).
