Shakya Design offers malas, commonly known as prayer beads, in a wide variety of styles for practice and as gifts. These include bracelet malas , hand malas, wrist malas, and 108 bead malas. Malas are offered in sandalwood, rosewood , bodhi seed, lotus seed, crystal or semi-precious stones. Shakya Design also offers many devotional items including hand-made mala cases, altar cloths, spiritual focus jewelry, incense, books, cd's, prayer wheels, statues and hand-made, tree-free paper card and stationery sets. 
Each Shakya Design mala comes in a gift-presentation case made of hand-made tree-free paper and contains a card explaining the use of a mala.
